We always recommend that you purchase trip insurance whenever making travel plans and strongly suggest you consider trip insurance that includes covid coverage. You can use our suggested insurance provider and choose a policy option that is best for you.
I need a roommate-How do I arrange that?
If you are traveling solo and would like to book the lower double occupancy rate simply check the roommate request form. We will make every effort to match you with a same gender roommate, if we are unable to find a match, you will not be charged for the single occupancy surcharge.
Can I bring my partner or kids?
You can absolutely bring your partner and your adult children; however, this trip is not suitable for children under the age of 18.
How do I get to the retreat hotel?
You will need to drive yourself to the hotel, we will work on carpooling arrangements for those who would like to share the cost of gas. Simply check the carpooling box on the booking form.
This map will show you the directions to the hotel.
Can you accommodate my dietary restrictions?
You will be on your own for most meals so you can select restaurants that meet your dietary needs. For the meals that we provide we will make every effort to accommodate your requests but we must know in advance. Please complete the dietary requests section of the booking form and let us know your request so we can work on it. Borrego Springs is a small community and while we will work to ensure vegan options at every meal, there are not a lot of options for vegans or other restricted diets.
What is the weather like?
Expect cool mornings and evenings in the desert and warm sunny days. Highs are in the 70’s and lows in the mid to upper 40’s in January. Pretty much like everywhere else in the SoCal desert.
